Wrap your yarn around your cardboard 25 times, (more times for a thicker tassel)

With a long strand tie the top with at least two knots.

When that’s done, remove the cardboard and cut bottom loops.

Snip the loops and trim the end.

String wooden bead to the top and tie tassel in Ch 1 space of the bottom of your wall hanging, Sew in all loose ends and hang!!

Crochet Cactus Pin Cushion

Crochet Cactus Pin Cushion

We are finally getting our basement “yarn room” renovated into an actual craft room/office instead of the disastrous state it is currently in. Of course, this means unearthing yarn previously forgotten about and rather than roll bits of yarn into balls and tuck them away and forget about them, I decided to start a new project – a blanket – that would help with my clean up efforts. I can truthfully say that I have spent more time on this blanket than I have on cleaning out the room, but I still feel accomplished just the same.

So now I have accumulated a large pile of scraps that also need to be put into a project because they are just too pretty to throw away…. Now we have a collection of super cute scrap yarn stuffed cactus pin cushion complete with a terracotta pot!
